Language acquisition is a long process for everyone,but for Chinese learners living in Italy,Chinese acquisition is a slow and painstaking process.According to the survey,many foreign language majors in China are unable to pass the final examination,and some even give up Chinese majors only after one year of study.Italians have a proverb "Sta Parlando Cinese"(literally "he speaks Chinese",which means,"I can't understand him at all").In fact,the Italians who are in contact with Chinese do meet many difficulties.In addition to the difficulties in characters and vocabulary acquisition,Italy learners will encounter many problems about grammar,especial y because the transfer of mother tongue hinders the acquisition of the target language.Chinese writing system is not alphabetic and although the grammar is not developed,the characters and their own tone system are difficult to learn.Usual y a Chinese does not necessarily know ten thousand words after graduating from university,so students who learn Chinese should not be afraid of the difficulty and quantity of Chinese characters.In this way,Chinese characters will not become a learning disability,but will become the companionship of daily life.In addition,although there is a great difference between the two languages in terms of morphology,phonetics and grammar,there is a lot in common between Chinese and Italian.In addition to the similarities between roots and radicals,there are many similarities in meaning expression.Therefore,the teachers of Chinese international education should make use of the similarities between Italian and Chinese to establish the self-confidence of students.At the same time,we should make use of the cultural characteristics of the two different countries of Italy and China to attract students' interest and make the difficulties of learning Chinese become the fun of learning Chinese.Students encounter problems from pronunciation to grammatical errors,so the aim of this paper is to analyze the most common problems encountered by the Italians and the most common grammatical errors.Therefore,the teachers of Chinese international education should not only stimulate students' interest in Chinese learning,but also have to avoid errors from the initial stage of learning new languages.Once mistakes occur,they should correct them,otherwise they will form a fossilization phenomenon.
