In the compulsory education stage,English courses have always occupied a very important position.Due to the uniqueness and importance of the English subject,its new curriculum reform also has many key points and difficulties.The new curriculum reform further clarifies the goal of junior high school English teaching,not only cultivating students’ English language skills,mastering basic knowledge of English,having certain English communication skills,and developing good English learning habits and English learning concepts.Improving the quality of English classroom teaching,enriching teaching methods,and maintaining effective classroom teaching are the main factors to achieve this goal.Teachers are the key to all teaching activities.The comprehensive quality of teachers is the prerequisite for the success of English classes.Students are the subject of classroom knowledge,active participants in classroom teaching,and the basis for effective English classrooms.Based on the importance of classroom teaching,this paper,with the support of advanced theories such as constructivism theory,multiple intelligence theory,and recent development zone theory,adopts a variety of research methods,with empirical analysis as the main line,and expands the efficiency of first-year English classroom teaching.look deep into.The paper takes Shangji County’s upper concentration school as the investigation object,the teaching concept,classroom teaching ability,teaching method and educational literacy of the first grade English teachers;individual differences,learning concepts and habits,self-learning ability,classroom Surveys such as reference.This paper comprehensively discusses the current situation of the English classroom teaching in the first year of rural junior high school and the reasons for its inefficiency,and explores measures to improve the efficiency of the first-grade English classroom in rural junior high school.The main body of the paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.Analyze the research background,research purpose and significance of this paper,and list the research methods.The second part is a literature review.This paper reviews domestic and foreign literatures and discusses the research results of low-efficiency problems in middle school English classroom teaching at home and abroad,especially the shortcomings of relevant domestic research.Defining the concept,introducing the theoretical basis for the research of the thesis,laid an important theoretical foundation for the research of the whole thesis.The third part is the field investigation and analysis,and investigates the first-grade English classroom teaching in the upper level of the county.The main subjects of the survey are English teachers and students,using questionnaires,interviews and observation methods.I sorted out the current situation and existing problems of the first English class in Shangji County.Through analysis,it is found that there are the following problems in the English class teaching in the first grade of the school in Suiling County: there are many problems in the design and implementation of teaching activities,the objectives of teaching activities are not clear,the setting of teaching situations is unreasonable,and students participate in teaching activities.The breadth and depth are not enough,the use of teaching resources is inappropriate,and there is a lack of effective evaluation and feedback.The fourth part undertakes the third part of the current situation and the problems of the English classroom teaching in the first grade of the school in the middle of the county.The reasons for the inefficiency of the English classroom teaching are analyzed: the separation of the teaching objectives,the value of the English subject is not fully reflected,the interest in English learning Lack of motivation,lack of effective learning methods and strategies for students,insufficient participation in classroom activities,and differences in learning abilities among rural students;the lack of convergence in primary and secondary schools has also contributed to the inefficiency of English classrooms.The fifth part is the strategic proposal,which is a comprehensive analysis of the third part and the fourth part.The sixth part is the conclusion,summarizing the arguments of the paper,analyzing the innovations,and reflecting on the inadequacies of the paper.
