With the development of the world economy and culture,and the rapid development of society,the modern minimalist design has also been greatly affected in China.However,due to the late beginning,slow development and the impact of international design,our country's design has not formed its own unique design style in modern design like some western countries.To solve this problem,the author analyse the current design situation of our country in the paper.And the author begin the analysis from China's national conditions,set the development of China's localization of minimalist design as a starting point,and set the application of localization of minimalist design in the modern brand image design and promotion as the purpose of design.First of all,by collecting information and comparing with the domestic and foreign research,the author find that the current state of China's design is a upward trend but lack of local characteristics and integrity.Therefore,the author set the material and spiritual level of localization of minimalist design as a starting point to solve the problem.Secondly,the author focus the theoretical basis and do a research about the close relationship between national symbols and local culture from the perspective of national symbols.And the author put forward a designing method for localization of simple design,namely,integration of the local elements and the local culture in the modern minimalist design.This paper expounds the concept of localization of minimalist design and brand image design,and focuses on the concept of localization of minimalist design,and analyzes the relationship between the two.And then,the research content is analyzed.To make further analysis about three aspects of minimalist design localization in brand image design of the content,the author analyse the formation of the brand of local cultural advantages,the simple design of the influence of localization factors on brand image design and focus on the characteristics.And then,a solution is put forward.The author will elaborate on the design methods of local minimalist design in the modern brand image design,including the content,the related designed elements and the principles it should follow.And then the design elements and artistic conception are emphatically summarized and refined.Then the localization elements are applied to the design of modern brand image with a new visual symbol.Finally,the author take the “deer destiny” brand food stores as a practical example,refine the local elements and put them into application of the brand image design.And then the application of the localization of minimalist design in brand image design was further verified by the aforementioned case.Therefore,localization of minimalist design in modern brand image design can be developed,inherited and innovated.At the same time,the author draws on the relevant theoretical analysis and research results of the national semiotics.The ultimate goal of this thesis is to form a set of perfect and localized theoretical system about the elements and semiotics in localization of minimalist design,and to provide a theoretical reference for others.
