This topic is based on the minimalist design style,and is designed as a design based on the brand image of Pingyao Ancient City.Apply the relevant research conclusions of minimalist design to the visual image design of the self-made tourism cultural brand“Pingyao”.Mainly aimed at the consumer psychology and hobbies of the consumer groups,the visual language of the minimalist design is integrated into the cultural image of Pingyao Ancient City,and the traditional culture modernization design is realized,and the visual image design of “Pingyao” brand is completed.The design requirements report,based on the research and design definition of the subject,mainly carried out three aspects of research:(1)research and analysis of the status quo of domestic and foreign tourism cultural and creative brands.Summarize the problems existing in the current tourism cultural brand image design.After analysis and research,we can find that the quality of current tourism cultural and creative brands is uneven.In some brands,there is a phenomenon that the products do not match the characteristics and culture of the tourist attractions.Therefore,it has become an inevitable trend to rationalize and redesign the brand image for tourist attractions.(2)Conducted research on the consumer groups of Pingyao Ancient City tourism cultural and creative products.Summarize the consumer demand characteristics of tourism cultural and creative products.(3)3 Analyze and study the case of minimalist style application in brand image design,and find out the design direction of minimalist design style in brand image.The theoretical research report,(1)researches the relevant literature theories of minimalist style application and brand image design theory according to the design direction proposed in the design requirements report and the requirements of the design creation content of the subject.(2)Analyze and study the cases of applying traditional cultural characteristics in tourism cultural and creative brands,and find the design direction and methods of visual and extensive traditional cultural features in tourism cultural and creative brands.The combination of the two explores the needs,advantages and directions of the application of minimalist styles in brand image design,and provides theoretical support and design methods for the author's subsequent design researchThe design process report,according to the target requirements and theoretical research report of this topic,elaborates and expresses the brand image design of“Pingyao” tourism culture.According to the cultural attributes of the tourist attractions and the characteristics of the consumer groups,the brand concept and positioning are determined.Because the brand is based on the ancient city of Pingyao,the brand image is shaped from the cultural characteristics and architectural style of Pingyao Ancient City.Based on the minimalist style,the representative elements of the ancient city are refined,reconstructed and re-created,and the brand image that is rich in the cultural characteristics of the ancient city and meets the aesthetic needs of the contemporary people is created.The final work is presented in the form of “Pingyao” visual image design system,which includes basic VI design and product application design,such as brand logo,business card,bookmark,folding fan,playing card,etc.
