With the acceleration of urbanization and the transformation and upgrading of the tourism consumer market,tourism has gradually become a new growth point to drive regional economic development.The driving effect of tourism destination image and its practical significance have directly promoted people to speed up the research and development of the visual image of the tourism destination brand.The tourism destination brand image visual identity design is based on the natural ecological resources,industrial resources,historical and cultural resources,economic and environmental resources and humanities and cultural resources to build the basic design elements of brand image design,which are applied to the physical environment of the tourist town,the virtual environment of the Internet and the environment of humanistic behavior,thus highlighting the resource advantages,disseminating information about the resources of the tourist town,and enhancing the awareness and influence of the tourist town.This article discussed the brand image visual identity design of the ancient temple town and aimed to enhance its brand image value.Over the last thousands years,thanks to the several times of ups and downs of Shuanglin Temple and Yiwu River shipping,the ancient temple town has become a famous commercial port around Zhejiang Province and has been handed down over hundreds of years.With the outstanding ancient commercial culture,ancient folk culture,and Buddhist culture,this ancient town has been rated as a famous historical and cultural town in China.However,during the period of rapid economic development,highways and railways are more convenient than waterways,and they possess of low transportation cost,high speed,and high cargo return speed,which have gradually slowed down the development of ancient towns.In order to reproduce the scenery of the ancient temple town,the local government has introduced a professional planning and designinstitution to put forward reasonable and effective suggestions for the development orientation and model of ancient towns.By analyzing the brand image visual identity design of the ancient temple town,this study has proposed suggestions and design schemes about the basis and application system of ancient towns' visual identity,integrated the ancient historical and cultural resources into an external visual identity system,thus enhanced the brand value of the ancient town to further drive the economic development,and at the same time provided some methods and ideas for the visual identity design of the same type of tourism town brand image.
