Study On Character Remodeling Of Korean Real Case Films In The 21st Century

During the boom period in the 21 st century,Korean films have a variety of themes and a variety of types.Among them,a kind of film with real cases as the theme is one of its major features,which appears in batches in the Korean film market and triggers social discussion after its release,and even realizes the practical significance of influencing national legislation and pushing for the retrial of cases.Although Korean real case movies are based on real cases,as a narrative art of characters,the image of characters in the film is different from the characters in the case.From reality to film,there must be some reasons for the difference between the two.Behind the high attention and realistic significance of real case movies in South Korea,the overall appearance,the way of remolding the image of the characters in the case,the factors influencing the remolding and the effects after the remolding are all worth discussing.The paper will examine the reconstruction of the image of the victim,the perpetrator and the just person,as well as the fictional relationship between the characters.Firstly,according to the relevant data of real cases,the victims,perpetrators and just people in the cases are investigated respectively from the aspects of the identity,number and distribution of characters,to describe the characteristics of real case characters,so as to understand the theme selection direction of the creators of such films.Secondly,by analyzing the changes in the identities,Numbers and relationships of characters in the films,different directions of image remodeling are summarized,and the narrative value of image remodeling in different directions is explored.Finally,by combining the social,historical and ethnic cultural backgrounds of South Korea,this paper analyzes the human nature thinking and social criticism implied in the remolding of characters in different directions.
