Research On The Works Of Poetry And Music Of Chen Qi Gang's Orchestral Works

Chen QiGang is one of many contemporary composers who are interested in using traditional Chinese classical poetry to create music.He composed two works of poetry and music: the first one was “Poeme Lyrique ?-Shui Diao Ge TO”(for baryton and ensemble instrumental),written in 1990,on the basis of the song dynasty poet Su Shi's "Shui Diao Ge TO";the another one was“Jiang Tcheng Tse” based on Su Shi's poem with the same name,written for soprano,chorus and orchestra.This paper will explore Chen QiGang's ci music works from several perspectives,including text analysis,specific techniques of poetry and music creation,the overall creation concept of the two modern works and the aesthetic connotation of poetry and music.The research method of this paper mainly adopts the method of literature discussion.Through the understanding of Chen QiGang and his composition techniques,as well as the collection,collation and induction of the relevant literature materials of the two works “Poeme Lyrique?-Shui Diao Ge TO” and “Jiang Tcheng Tse”,to sum up the techniques,concepts and beauty of poetry and music;combine with the example analysis of the score,to put forward my own point of view.
