Along with the wave of new technological innovation and economic globalization, the measurement problem in the labour theory of value has aroused widespread concern in the academic world. This issue contains a conceptual summary of the new modes of production of contemporary capitalism and is the most heated debate in the field of new Marxist research in recent years. The basic problems include the lack of validity of contemporary labour theory of value, such as emotional labour, knowledge labour and other so-called immaterial labour.Overstepping the theoretical category of labour theory of value,it is impossible to measure the value of socially necessary labour time. The plausibility of Marx's labour theory of value in contemporary times. Therefore, this article will be combed and analyzed around the following three perspectives: First, the object problem: What is the research object of the measurement problem? And is it consistent with the objects studied in the labour theory of value? It is the key to measuring whether the problem can falsify the labour theory of value.Second, the issue of social relations: the relationship between value measurement, the essence is the relationship between capital and labour. The measurement problem depicts a production exchange system between workers. In fact,Marx believes that all growth in social productivity will not make workers rich, but will only make the capital rich, and will only increase the power to control labour.Third, the existence of the measurement problem is a misunderstanding of Marx's labour value theory.Instead,it is more about the change of Marx and contemporary capital from the standpoint of utility value theory.
