Song Dynasty was the rising period of the development of Chinese feudal society.Song Dynasty's agent scholars,as a group of responsible Confucian scholars,came into being at that time.For cultivating oneself and making the world peaceful,Their Neo-Confucianism has a complete system and rich connotation.They take the advantages of the preceding sages and then enrich it.On the basis of studying and sorting out the original literature of Song Dynasty's ritual education,this research deeply studies the objective of Song Dynasty's ritual education thought,analyses its content,finds out its principles and methods,and elucidates its function,with a view to providing useful reference for current personal temperament cultivation,family harmony,and state administration.The introduction of the paper mainly introduces the research background and problems,explains the research purpose,significance and definition of related concepts,related literature review,research methods and other issues.The main body of the paper is divided into three parts.The first part focuses on elucidating the social basis for the emergence of Song Dynasty's Confucianism.The rise of the commoners provided the political basis for Song Dynasty's Confucianism,and the prosperity of commodity economy provided the realistic fertile soil for Song Dynasty's Confucianism.The historical accumulation of traditional Confucianism and the advocacy of Buddhism and Taoism influenced the Confucianism of Song Dynasty's Confucianism.The second part is the core and focus of the paper.This part discusses the main components of Song Dynasty's Confucianism from three aspects: educational objectives,educational contents and educational principles and methods.The aim of the Confucian ethics thought of Song Dynasty is to achieve the personality of "sages" by "understanding virtue";to achieve the realm of "harmony and happiness" by understanding "oneself";to construct the family of "relatives" by understanding " ethics" and to maintain the order of "respect" by understanding " laws".The content of etiquette includes that the origin of etiquette comes from natural natural reason,etiquette is rooted in human ethics,and etiquette is embodied in system and moral character.As for the principles and methods of etiquette education of Song Dynasty's proxy scholars,the principle of "courtesy should be based on time",the principle of "making courtesy according to human feelings",the principle of "following one's sexual desires" and the principle of "courtesy and being precious" provide the standard for people to practice etiquette education.At the same time,it provides specific methodological guidance for people by means of poor material,sincerity,sincerity and respect.The third part focuses on the evaluation of Song Dynasty's Confucianism and the mirror of reality.From the positive role,it is conducive to achieving the political order of "monarchy,integrity and discipline",realizing the social education of "people's order,customs" and forming the family ethics of "family customs,harmony among all families",while improving the personal training of "knowing etiquette,understanding progress and retreat".Of course,the Confucianism of Song Dynasty has its own inevitable limitations,too conservative,compulsory,and too emphasis on hierarchy.Generally speaking,as the essence of tradition,the thought of ritual education of Song Dynasty's proxy scholars has important enlightenment to the current individual's self-cultivation of both internal and external manners,the family's cultivation of the atmosphere of knowledge and courtesy,the social maintenance of civilized and orderly order,and the national promotion of the idea of the rule of ritual and law.
