Research On The Cultural Symbols In The Images Of The Daur Nationality

With the rapid development of economy and the changes of social culture,the cultural life of ethnic minorities is changing.Many precious cultures are faced with the dilemma of fading and inheriting.However,the Daur nation is no exception.Among many modes of transmission,the images have incomparable advantages.That is an important way to spread Daur's national culture.Furthermore,that can also record the Daur nation from different levels and convey spirit and connotation of the nation.A large number of national culture symbols have appeared in the national images of Daur,which condense the historical culture and spiritual concept of the nation.The national culture symbols are important carriers for spreading and inheriting the Daur national culture,and they are important performance factors in the Daur national image as well.Based on semiotics,national culture,film and television and other related theories,literature research method and case study method are used to sort out more than 40 images which have been collected,and the author will deeply analyze the types of cultural symbols in the images and the meaning construction of cultural symbols in this paper.From different levels,the author explores the various possibilities of expressing the cultural connotation of Daur's national image.This article Research on the Cultural Symbols in the Images of the Daur Nationality contains three sections.First of all,the cultural symbols in Daur's national image are divided into four types: daily life,art form,spiritual culture and production activities.While,the meanings of each type of symbol are interpreted.Secondly,the paper analyzes the meaning construction process of cultural symbols in the images,which include five parts.The first part is to construct the “ truth ” of the presence of cultural symbols through the directness and implicitness of the meaning of television image;the second is to express the metaphorical meaning of symbols in the image narration;the third is to extend the meaning of cultural symbols by means of metaphor;thefourth is to construct the meaning of“myth” through the national beliefs of natural concepts and benevolence,and the last part is to go back to the true meaning of the symbol of “ homeland ” and to convey the memory and complex to the national homeland of Daur;In the process of meaning construction of these cultural symbols,whether it is the construction of the surface or the deep construction directly to the human heart,the images reveal the cultural connotation of the Daur nation to audiences at different levels,presenting a unique Daur national culture.However,in the process of constructing cultural symbols in Daur's national images,there are still problems including insufficient expression of connotation,unbalanced perspective construction,homogenization of content,and single audio-visual elements.In order to enhance the connotation of cultural symbols in images,it is necessary to deeply explore the intrinsic meanings of national symbols.And the key is to pay attention to the balanced expression of national symbols,embody the value pursuit of national symbols,and to realize the diversified development of national symbol forms.Therefore,improving and spreading the value of Daur's national image are needed to be done and disseminating the Daur national culture becoming more and more important.
