The calligraphy of the Tang Dynasty occupied an important position in the history of Chinese calligraphy,and it was the result of the development of calligraphy art to a more prosperous period.In an era when many famous Kaishu calligraphers came forth,Ouyang Tong's regular script art has a unique style.However,from ancient times to modern times,Ouyang Tong's regular script art has undergone great changes in respect.Therefore,Ouyang Tong's regular script art is chosen as the research object to try to analyze the style characteristics,status and influence of Ouyang Tong's regular script art,find out the factors that have high research value in its regular script art,reveal the unique and unique artistic characteristics of Ouyang Tong's regular script art,and point out the reasons why contemporary calligraphers and scholars admire Ouyang Tong's regular script.This is not only of practical significance to the use of pens and structures in learning Ouyang Tong's regular script,but also of positive theoretical significance in promoting the innovative consciousness and creative thinking of regular script.This paper uses the methods of literature research,image analysis and comparison to study the regular script art in Ouyang Tong.First of all,starting from the social and cultural background of the early Tang and Sui dynasties,the economic prosperity in the early Tang Dynasty led the rulers to attach great importance to regular script,giving Ouyang Tong more room and affection to play.There is also a multi-cultural influence,which led to the development of calligraphy and the evolution of calligraphy style in Tang Dynasty.Secondly,this article analyzes Ouyang Tong's experience in learning calligraphy.He not only inherited the charm of Ouyang Xun style,but also was influenced by calligraphy in the Six Dynasties.He also learned from the calligraphy styles of Yu Shinan and Chu Suiliang in the early Tang Dynasty.He integrated these three styles into his own calligraphy style.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the style and characteristics of Ouyang Tong's regular script works handed down from ancient times,and makes a more in-depth study of " Tablet of Master DaoYin " and " Quan Nansheng's epitaph " by image analysis.At the same time of analysis and research,the change of Ouyang Tong's style is explored in a comparative way,and compared with the pen,structure and aesthetic fashion of Ouyang Xun's "Jiucheng Palace Liquan Ming",trying to analyze the inheritance and innovation of Ouyang Tong's regular script art.Finally,this paper explores the status and influence of Ouyang Tong.It is found that Ouyang Tong has a profound influence on the epitaph of regular script in Tang Dynasty,Japanese scripture writing,and regular script in Qing Dynasty.In the calligraphy exhibition and calligrapher creation of modern and contemporary times,there are more and more calligraphers affected by Ouyang Tong's regular script.
