Lung cancer has become the leading cause of death from cancer in our country, and the incidence of lung cancer in China is still on the rise.In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology and the rapid social and economic development, the conditions for medical and health care are getting better and better.Nowadays, the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer in our country has achieved great devolopment at the technical level after many clinical trials, however, compared with the developed countries, there are still many gaps in the concept of multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer,I Need to go to continuous learning and innovation. The translation project involves clinical medicine and pathology,so the translation should maintain accuracy, consistency, equivalence and formality; In this report, the author selects CONTORVERSIES IN LUNG CANCER : A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH as the source text of the translation project, and summarized the translation strategies of medical text medical translation under the framework of Nida's functional equivalence theory from the lexical, syntactic and semantic levels. On lexical level, literal translations are used to deal with technical terms and compound words.Commonly used words often express their special meaning in medical texts, requiring translators to distinguish their meanings in context. On syntactic level, conversions and restructuring are two common methods to solve this problem. In addition,a series of effective translation strategies are provided on syntactic level, including the conversion of words and division of sentences.Ultimately, the passive voice can be translated into the Chinese active voice according to its specific meaning. The objective of this report is to raise translation problems encountered in the medical translation project and give corresponding solutions under the theoretical guidance of functional equivalence Theory.Instructive suggestions are proposed for later translators encountering the homogeneous text.
