The Surangama Sutra, based on the questioning of the conscience and sincerity, has always been the focus of academic attention. In this paper, through the interpretation of the text of the Surangama Sutra,we hope to grasp the characteristics of sincere permanence, immortality and emptiness of the body. This paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter One,the theory of body and mind in the Surangama Sutra, focuses on the essence of physical and mental problems from the perspective of the relationship between body and mind and the "I" of the unity of body and mind.It is concluded that the body and mind, which are formed by the harmony of five connotations, are both the manifestations of "false ego" and the false manifestations of the true heart.Chapter Two,The theory of mind and matter in the Surangama Sutra, mainly from the perspective of the relationship between mind and matter, focuses on the relationship between the true self and the manifestation of all things in the universe. It is concluded that the nature of the True Tathagata is empty, but it absorbs all kinds of methods.Chapter Three, the theory of mind in the Surangama Sutra, mainly from the perspective of mind, focuses on the identification of true and false body, the characteristics of true heart, and the self-nature of mind. And the emptiness and the doctrine of the middle way are permeated into the problem of the real body.It is concluded that the persistent delusion of all living beings is only the presentation of the true error, and there is no independent and complete self.True delusion is the same and there is no difference. However, from the final level, the essence of the emptiness of the true mind is not summarized by words and thinking.Only through the practice of the subject of life, can we realize the intrinsic value of the true thought.
