Color Word Group And Their Cultural Significance In The Whole Tang Poetry

This paper collects 52,933 use cases of 70 color words in the complete tang poetry.According to these cases,the use of the 70 color word frequency and word meaning characteristics,color domain are discussed in detailed investigation and analysis,relatively accurate and the system shows the meaning of color words author trys to use the overall appearance and cultural connotation.The color words in quantang poetry are characterized by variety,high frequency and wide range of use.70 color words belong to 5 word groups of "qing","red","yellow","white" and "black",and each word group,in addition to representing words of "qing","red","yellow","white" and "black",contains different number of color word members.Among them,"black" word group has the largest number,with 23.The "red" word group and "white" word group came next,with 18 and 15 respectively."Green" word group and "yellow" word group are the least,with 7 and 2 respectively.The use cases of these color words have a total of 52933,which shows the high frequency of use.Among these use cases,there are original meaning,extended meaning and additional meaning,among which "red,yellow and black" indicates the most use cases of color meaning.In addition to used to represent the original meaning of the color,the color word is also used to describe clothing dress,diet culture,living conditions,travel tools,utensils,social system,cultural tradition,space-time concept,moral character,auspicious calamity aspects of cultural content.These cultural contents are divided into three levels: material culture,social culture and philosophical culture.When used in the field of material culture,color words are limited to the specific description of the color of things;When it is used to express social culture,it does not only mean the meaning of color,but also contains the symbol and cognition of color.When applied to phenomena involving philosophical and cultural levels,it has become the specific symbol of the whole society in spirit,reflecting the concepts and cognition in social group spirit and consciousness after the combination of material culture and social culture.
