Research On Semantic Generalization Of Agricultural Verbs In Modern Chinese

Agriculture plays an important role in our country and has an important influence on language.In history,many agricultural terms and Agricultural Generalization terms with research value have been produced.At present,our research on these generalizations is not perfect enough and needs to be further deepened.Based on this situation,this paper studies the semantic generalization of agricultural verbs in Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition).Firstly,we define and screen agricultural verbs and agricultural verbs with semantic generalization.Secondly,the data statistics and analysis of the selected generalization words are carried out,and the meaning characteristics of these agricultural verbs with semantic generalization are investigated.The generalization degree of agricultural verbs and their main manifestations in grammar,pragmatics and cognitive mechanism are also analyzed.Finally,the causes of these generalization phenomena are analyzed.Through this series of work,we hope to explore some rules of semantic generalization of agricultural verbs in modern Chinese.This paper mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction.This part includes the object of this study,previous research results,the purpose and significance of this study,as well as the main research methods used in this paper.Second,the definition of semantic generalization of agricultural verbs.In this part,we define the object of study.Firstly,we define and screen the agricultural verbs,and secondly,we define the agricultural verbs with semantic generalization.Third,the lexical characteristics of agricultural verbs with semantic generalization.In this part,we mainly analyze the phonetic and structural features of agricultural verbs.Furthermore,the paper makes an in-depth analysis on the phonetic and structural features of agricultural verbs with semantic generalization.Finally,we compare the agricultural verbs with the agricultural verbs which have semantic generalization,and investigate their generalization in different syllable types and structural types.Fourth,the analysis of the semantic generalization of agricultural verbs,the degree of generalization and the cognitive mechanism.In this part,we first analyze the semantics of agricultural verbs and the generalization process of these semantics,and explore some special semantic expressions in their generalization.In addition,we analyze the degree of generalization of agricultural verbs.By retrieving agricultural verbs with semantic generalization in the People's Web corpus,we divide the degree of semantic generalization of agricultural verbs.Finally,we use the linguistic theory of conceptual integration to analyze the cognitive mechanism of agricultural verb generalization.Fifth,to explore the reasons of semantic generalization of agricultural verbs.In this part,this paper explores the reasons for the semantic generalization of agricultural verbs from three perspectives.First,it examines the relationship between language and practical concepts such as agricultural production activities,and then it analyses the close relationship between agriculture and people's daily life.Finally,it explores the communicative needs of people in daily life.These three factors play an important role in the semantic generalization of agricultural verbs.Sixth,concluding remarks.The concluding part mainly summarizes the research contents of this paper,and briefly introduces some main points of view obtained in the process of research.At the same time,it also points out some shortcomings existing at present and the need for improvement and improvement in the future.
