Individual Narration In Shi Zhecun's Psychoanalytic Novels

This paper analyses the way in which the characters in Shi Zhecun's novels are constructed,their spiritual characteristics and the reasons why the writers are persistent in shaping the lonely individuals in modern society by means of "individual narration".The first chapter analyses the individual construction in the novel.Man is an organic whole,man's psychological consciousness,human organization and human sociality are all important components of individual construction.Shi Zhecun constructs an individual with the characteristics of "introversion".He takes the individual's biology as the breakthrough point,constructs the individual's psychological world from three aspects: body writing,spiritual world analysis and small family life narration,and excavates the individual's real psychology in urban daily life.The second chapter analyses the individual's spiritual characteristics in the novel.Citizens have new occupations.They strive to survive through mental or physical labor,and are tied to office or modern machinery by mechanized work,such as teachers,bank clerks,dancers,coachmen,department store salesmen,etc.They struggle to survive in the crack between local civilization and urban civilization,and their wandering life in the city makes them homeless physically and spiritually.Facing the oppression of economy,politics and culture,their spirits become more decadent and disillusioned.The third chapter is to analyze the deep reasons behind Shi Zhecun's persistence in individual construction.The spirit of freedom under the influence of Songjiang Spirit,the experimental spirit under the influence of Western culture and the pursuit of "cutting-edge literature" groups have a profound impact on the formation of Shi Zhecun's literary and artistic outlook.In Shanghai in the 1920 s and 1930 s,the political situation was tense.Shi Zhecun paid attention to political affairs and was keen on political movements in his earlyyears.However,after the coup d'etat of April 12,it was suddenly discovered that politics was the sacrifice of groups for the power of minorities.He began to think rationally about politics and adhered to the road of "political left-wing,literary liberalism".
