| The small north main stream area of the Yellow River in shaanxi province is one of the cradles of prehistoric civilization.Dayu,as a mythological figure in the period of ancient history and legend,has been highly respected in the small north main stream area of the Yellow River in shaanxi since ancient times.The local people built and rebuilt da yu temple for thousands of years,carried out activities of worship to da yu and fabricated stories and legends about da yu,which expressed the local people's faith in da yu in this way.Dayu temple is a folk temple widely existing in the xiaobaigan area of the Yellow River in shaanxi province.In terms of time distribution,the dayu temple in this area was mainly built in the yuan dynasty.From the perspective of the spatial distribution of dayu temple,it is mainly distributed in han cheng and Dali counties where dayu stories and legends are abundant.The temporal and spatial distribution of dayu temple is an adaptation to the natural and cultural environment in this area.The da yu temple in this area has many functions such as politics,enlightenment and praying for disasters,but also has some negative effects.The dayu temple in zhouyuan,as the well-preserved dayu temple in this area,has a clear organizational history and the sacrificial activities have been inherited.The main reason for the local people's worship of da yu is his spirit and utility.There are abundant stories and legends about Dayu in this area.Dayu stories and legends mainly include three aspects: water control,state management and family.Most of the folk stories are compiled by later generations,which can not be verified by history.Different narrators and organizers have different ways of making up stories and legends and expressing ideas.However,all story creators have a common writing feature,that is,to localize the universal folktales and legends,to reflect the regional characteristics,and to facilitate the publicity and inheritance of local culture. |
