Research On The Rhetorical Characteristics Of Modern Military Song Lyrics In China

Chinese modern military songs are an indispensable part of Chinese military culture.These songs directly reflecting the military's image and temperament style,is a beautiful scenery in our song garden.In the war years,they can mobilize the citizens to join the army,in order to strengthen the military power of the country and save the nation lost in danger;they can make the soldiers to do a concerted effort and fight the enemy bravely;they can make the enemy tremble with fear and their morale decayed to subdue them without fighting.In the era of peaceful development,their melody is so heroic and positive that all citizens are inspired for working hard;their melody is lyrical about the soldiers' innermost thoughts and love;their melody is so gracious as the wind in spring warming every person in the country and blowing us to a new era.This paper starts from three aspects of type,age and region to analyze the rhetorical devices,functions and styles of nearly 500 Chinese modern military songs.Then,sums up their similarities and differences in various dimensions,and hopes to provide some references for the future creation of military songs in China so that these songs can play a better role in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
