A Study On The Role Modeling Of "Doraemon"

The animated character is not only the base of animation,but also the core to the success of an animation brand,which directly influences the success of an animation.The animated character of Doraemon about Japanese animation gives animation stronger vitality and makes it popular for more than ten years all over the country.At the same time,five animation stars are known,including Doraemon,Nobita,Shizuka,Gian and Suneo.In recent years,although animation has had a certain development in our country,few animation stars are created by ourselves.So our animators have a long way to go on the design of animation role modelling.The paper studies animation role modelling of Doraemon through sampling survey method and analyzes geometric symbols elements which are applied in modelling,including simplification and exaggeration of geometric symbols.It also analyzes the differences of characters which are shown in different geometric symbols.We can analyze the successful animation role modelling and summarize the features of animation stars modelling.Through different head modellingswhich show role of luck,different eye designings that show kindness and evil,different noses that show wealth and different lips which show role characters,this paper innovation studies the association of role shaping and physiognomy theory in works.In order to find traditional culture---the guidance of role shaping about physiognomy,we should advocate animated characters' shaping in our country to broaden the use of national culture through revealing.And we should dig deep national culture and connect national culture with modern culture to apply to designed thinking of animated characters.I hope to broaden the creative thinking of animated creators in our country and improve the ability of domestic animation role modelling and create national animation stars.
