The Annales D'histoire Economique et Sociale published in 1929 was co-founded by Lucien Febvre and Marc Bloch,which marks the beginning of the Annales School.In the long development course of a century,the main view and doctrine of the school spread widely in the world,and it is generally defined as one of the most influential and excellent western historiography in the 20th century by the academic community.This paper,based on Bloch's academic view,developed its analysis and research on the new historiography of the Annales School.The first chapter of this paper introduced the theme by studying the significance of the Annales School,explored the origin of the Annales School,and introduced the academic research development of the Annales School and Bloch at home and abroad as well as the main research ideas and methods.The second chapter of The Annals School and its New Historiography discussed and researched the relationship between the background of the school and Bloch,between the new historiography and traditional historiography of the Annales School,the new historiography of the Annales School and the new historiography of the United States,showing the basic connotation of the new historiography.The third chapter of The Origin of Bloch's Historiography discussed the social and academic background of Bloch's historiography and his experience,and deepened the understanding of the new historiography.The fourth chapter of The New Historiography on the Annales Based on Bloch's Concept from the historiography content,research methods and the historiography understanding,discussed Bloch's new historiography by combining Bloch's practice with Bloch's overall history thought,comparative thought,mentality history and human history thought,problem history thought,interdisciplinary thought and other important historiography theories.The fifth chapter of The Influence of the New Historiography of the Annales School explored the Annales School's influence,especially Bloch's influence,on the traditional historiography,its subsequent scholars,and the Chinese historiography,and analyzed the limitations of the Annales School and its implications to the Chinese historiography.The final part summarized the main ideas of this paper and elaborated the significance of the new historiography of the annals again,analyzed the shortages in terms of the research of this paper and made prospects to future historiography research.
