With the rapid development of China's economy and society, the government has paid more and more attention to cultural construction and cultural consumption has become a hot topic of concern. However, after reading the relevant literature,it can be found that there are not many researches on the cultural consumption of Chinese residents, especially those on the cultural consumption satisfaction of residents, which is shown in the following three aspects: First, there is no definite definition of the connotation of residents' cultural consumption satisfaction, which may affect the correlation among results of related researches.Second, the perspective of most researches is relatively narrow, which may be difficult to get a “general” conclusion.Third, evaluation dimensions of researches are different and not comprehensive, which lack “systematic” evaluation system on cultural consumption satisfaction. Therefore, indepth study of cultural consumption satisfaction is of great benefit to the improvement of cultural consumption satisfaction,so as to give full play of the economic function of cultural consumption, promote sound and rapid economic development, promote the further liberation and development of cultural productivity, promote cultural development and prosperity, which embodies the inevitable requirement of safeguarding and improving people's livelihood and is of great significance. In this thesis, the method of semi-structured interview was adopted and the qualitative research was conducted on the respondents,so as to determine the specific connotation of cultural consumption satisfaction, and on this basis, the cultural consumption satisfaction is measured from four dimensions including the educational consumption satisfaction, cultural and artistic consumption satisfaction, entertainment consumption satisfaction and sports consumption satisfaction.According to the existing literature and results of qualitative research,an initial index system of cultural consumption satisfaction was constructed in this thesis, and then the index system was modified through related analysis, and finally the questionnaires were designed based on the final index system of cultural consumption satisfaction and handed out to urban residents in a large scale. Then, the reclaimed questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS19.0 and the structural equation model was constructed and the model test and path analysis were carried out with SmartPLS3.0.According to the empirical analysis, the following results were got:(1)Entertainment consumption satisfaction has the greatest influence on the cultural consumption satisfaction of urban residents in China, followed by sports consumption satisfaction;(2)The satisfaction on the following eight aspects of cultural consumption including consumption on kindergarten and primary education, newspaper consumption, consumption on drama and dance performance, consumption on art galleries, exhibition halls and museums, consumption on electronic recreation, consumption on Internet cafes and consumption on sports skills is low. Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, corresponding policy recommendations were put forward in this thesis:(1)The cultural content and cultural quality should be vigorously promoted to develop the entertainment consumption;(2)The public sports facilities should be improved to enhance the service quality of sports consumption enterprises;(3)The reform of basic education should be deepened to improve teaching conditions of kindergarten and primary education;(4)The promotion and guidance on cultural and artistic consumption should be strengthened to guide and accelerate the supply-side reform of arts and culture.
