Study On Bronze Containers Of Middle Shang Period

In this paper I systematically summarize and discern the discovery and research of bronze containers during the middle Shang dynasty,and focuses on the typological research.Through the results of the type of division,combined with other factors such as horizon,coexistence of pottery and other factors,the bronze containers in the middle Shang dynasty is divided into three parts.On the basis of the staging,this paper summarizes the characteristics of the utensils from the aspects of shaped features,combinations,decoration and casting technology,and summarizes the development and evolution of the period from the first period to the third period.Period may correspond to the age.In addition,the paper analyzes the copper containers in the Central Plains region and the surrounding areas from the four directions of the North,East,South and West,and discusses the development of the bronze industry in the culture area of Shang Shang culture.
