Different cultural background leads to different focus in the pursuit of psychological balance,and in dealing with the relation between individual needs and social expectance.Zhang Lingcong believes that the balancedneed is the basic way of thinking for Chinese in meeting their own needs.By the method of quantitative and qualitative research,this studyhad investigated the inner structure of junior middle school students’ balance in parent-child relationship and developedtheJuniorMiddle SchoolStudents’ balance in parent-child relationship Questionnaire.And then by the method of stratified random sampling,we chose amiddle school from the urban and rural areas respectively to search the junior middle school students’ balance in parent-child relationship,parent-child relationship and self-control.After the investigation,we used descriptive statistics test,T test,variance analysis and other methods to analyse the collected data;Finally,by the method of correlation analysis and Structural Equation Modeling,we constructed a moderated mediation to examine whether mother-child relationship mediated the relation between the balance in parent-child relationship and self-control.Through a series of statistical analysis and discussion,the results were as follows:1.The junior middle school students’ balance in parent-child relationship was mainly inspected through internal balance and external balance;The junior middle school students’ balance in parent-child relationship includes two dimensions,12 items,and the questionnaire had acceptable reliability and validity.2.Most students had a higher level of cohesion and lower level of conflicts with their parents.Compared with their father,Thejunior middle school students had more intimate relationship and more conflict frequencys with their mother.3.The development level of parent-child cohesion from high to low was: Balance type>External imbalance type>Internal imbalance type> Imbalance type;the development level of parent-child conflict from high to low was:External imbalance type> Imbalance type > Internal imbalance type>Balance type.4.The junior middle school students’ self-control was a little more than the middle level in the general situation;speaking of the development level of self-control,the Balance typewere higher than the Imbalance type and Internal imbalance type.5.The mother-child relationship mediated the relation between the balance in parent-child relationship and self-control. |
