Print advertisement presents different characteristics at different times.At present,in the new media era,the traditional advertisement has been declining.The recently developed media technology brings the print advertisement to a brand new period.The original print advertisement form continuously comes to us day-to-day.It brings a unique visual experience for the audience.The new media advertising spreads faster,broader,and more effective,which provides a rapid promotion for brands and enterprises.However,as an emerging fantasy draw,the design standards of the new media print advertisement are not quite standard,so as its prospect.It is of great significance to sort out the manifestations of the print advertisement in the different historical stages and to study its characteristics.The print advertisement is once ancient hand-painted signs,woodblock printing,with the appearance of the modern printing machine,it developed as posters,billboards,and outdoor advertising,and then modern digital printing,light advertising boxes and other forms of advertising.Nowadays,the mainstream is displaying ad by the digital electronic technology.After such a transformation process,the banner,H5,and the dynamic poster have become the latest trend with the development of the new media.This paper mainly discusses the characteristics of the new media advertising since many pre-research of traditional print advertising history existed already.Focusing on listing a large number of cases to sort out its morphology and the features of design language,we could find out how the new media advertisement shows its traits of this moment.In this way can we provide a specific basis and reference for the theoretical research and professional practice of the print advertising in the new media era.At present,the new media print advertising is complying with the historical trend and develops rapidly,and its form is varied.The reason behind is various.Firstly,the technology is decisive,the development of the new media technology greatly innovates the way of communication and production of advertisement,which has laid the foundation for the transformation of new media advertisement.Secondly,the Internet has changed people's lifestyle,and it has also led to an alteration in the creation and the form of print advertising simultaneously to catch up.Therefore,through the study mentioned above,we can be more clear about the current status and characteristics of the print advertising at present.It proved that the print advertising could maintain its vitality only if it keeps the pace of the times and seeks innovation as well.
