The Collection On Mr Chen Shiye's Set And Research On Chen Hongxu

Chenhongxu is a litterateur and book collector between Ming and Qing dynasty.He was born in a official family,became an official because of his father's governmen servicer and did a good job.After the collapse of Ming Dynasty,although he was recommended,he refused to be an official,devoted himself to writing,leaving a large number of literary works.This paper introduced his current works.Because of the special historical period of Qing Dynasty repalcing Ming Dynasty,some of his works was destroyed by war,so we could only see its chapter but not the content.Chenhongxu compiled two works HengShancungao and Hongjueji but later the two works scattered and incomplete.When Chenhongxu's grandson Mei travelled in Rao County,QiuXiangyu saw the left of the works that he gave financial contribution to collect and print it.Mr Chenshiye's set that we read now is his grandson Mei Wen's printing in 1687.I gave punctuation to Mr ChenShiye's set included in Si Ku Quan Shu Cun Mu Spplement and made notes according to the manuscript included in Xinfeng lou.It is not really easy to keep works.ChenHongxu's Mr ChenShiye's set was banned in the early Qing Dynasty so that people was not able to read the whole set.But some of its works was included in other people's writings.I calculated the table of contents of the Mr ChenShiye's set in Si Ku Quan Shu Cun Mu Supplement and the manuscript in Xin feng lou.I discuss Chenhongxu's literary activities,his official experience and his experience of making friends on the basis of Mr ChenShiye's set in order to understand his thought of literature and official.In the same time,the set included the comments Chen Hongxu made on other people's works.It is good for us to know the main content of the lost works by his comments.The process of writing is also a record of his life.
