Mr.Chen Yaoxing is an erhu performer,composer and educator with a strong personal artistic style in the field of contemporary folk music.In his erhu career,he not only formed a distinct personal character in the erhu performance,but also took obvious influence in the creation of erhu music based on his special life background,rich learning experience,and his diligent research spirit.On the other hand,Mr.Chen Yaoxing has trained a large number of outstanding domestic and overseas' students in educational area.Moreover,his son Chen Jun inherits Mr.Chen Yaoxing's performance style and musical concept,with enriching and integrating them.Chen Jun successfully brings the national musical instrument erhu to the world.Nowadays,Chen's erhu develops to the third generation,Chen Yimiao,the daughter of Chen Jun,inherits the talent of erhu performance from her father and grandfather,and make a great figure on various performances,becoming the “Tomorrow Star” which the industry is looking forward to.The three generations of Chen as a special example in the field of contemporary instrumental music,three generations took over the erhu performance,upheld the inheritance of traditional culture.Reviewing the Chen's family,the author not only marvel and respect the excellent achievement of their performances in this industry,but also curious about the family's inheritance.As a master student of erhu major,this essay is going to research the three generations of Chen's family erhu inheritance based the information coming from the interview with Mr.Chen Jun,and later information collection.And then the professional erhu knowledge will be discussed and analysis in this essay,the last part is a brief conclusion.
