Chinese Medicine is the great treasure of our country,with the deepening of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries in recent years,Chinese Medicine has won a great opportunity for development,more and more Chinses Medicine learner are choosing to come to China and accept traditional Chinses Medicine teaching and clinical practice.For these students,language is the biggest barrier they encounter when the begin to study traditional Chinese Medicine.Therefore,it is an valuable problem how to teach Chinese to students majoring in Chinese Medicine.Teaching Chinese to students majoring in Chinese Medicine is a Chinese for special purpose in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,there is little domestic research on this aspect,unable to meet the growing demand for expertise.In the foreign countries,relatively mature systems have been formed in both theoretical research and practical teaching.Thematic Based Approach is widely used in teaching mode,that is,the content as the carrier,the text content as the subject.Unfortunately,the Thematic Based Approach has not received sufficient attention in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,especially in the application of Chinese teaching in Chinese Medicine,which is still blank.Aiming at this problem,this paper tries to explore the application of Thematic Based Approach in Chinese Medicine teaching.This article mainly started from two aspects:First,investigate the Thematic Based Approach factors from the existing representative Chinese Medicine textbooks and Chinese teaching practice,analyze its advantages and disadvantages,and study whether it can be applied to Chinese language teaching.Secondly,according to the existing theoretical bases,construct the Thematic Based Approach of Chinese teaching in Chinese Medicine,design teaching cases,and analyze the feasibility of applying Thematic Based Approach in Chinese teaching.There are four chapters of this article,the first part is instruction,mainly discusses the concept and research status of Chinese teaching in Chinese Medicine and Thematic Based Approach.The second chapter starts from the representative Chinese teaching textbooks of Chinese Medicine,analyze its teaching model and themes,and explore if there are any advantages can be learned,whether the existing teaching materials can be used as the carrier of the Thematic Based Approach.The third chapter starts from the Chinese teaching as a Foreign Language in Chinese Medicine institute,take the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine as example,study the feasibility of Chinese Thematic Based Approach in Chinese Medicine institute.The fourth chapter is a combination of theory and practice,based on the first and second chapters,construct Chinese Thematic Based Approach model in Chinese Medicine.The fifth chapter is the teaching case design,sum up and valuate through teaching practice.We hope,through the above research,can arouse the attention of the academic circle to the Thematic Based Approach,promote the development of Thematic Based Approach in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,particularly in Language for special purpose.
