Nowadays,with the rapid development of society,the social problems that come with it are springing up all over the world.For example,social conflicts are becoming more acute and the national anxiety is increasing.As a special contradiction solution mechanism in China,the work as ombudsman has a direct impact on the stability and harmony of the society.As the social contradiction solver,petition staffs have to face more negative emotions and more psychological pressure.Combined with the previous literature about anxiety,we find that researchers pay more attention to anxiety in recent years,but there are few researchers involved in the anxiety study of petition staff.Petition work is a special post,the petition staffs are group that respectable,and the psychological anxiety of the petition staffs is a problem worthy of discussion and attention.In addition,according to the nature of petition work,the petition staffs often have low levels of psychological empowerment and threats to their self-esteem when handling petition matters.Previous studies have shown that psychological empowerment and self-esteem are the two important factors that affect anxiety.Based on this,this paper intends to discuss and analyze the status quo of mental anxiety and the cause of psychological anxiety among the petition staff through the relationship between the two factors and anxiety,combined with the demographic variables.According to the conclusion of this paper,we will puts forward corresponding measures of anxiety alleviation and management,so as to realize the research purpose of this paper.We will first clarify the background of this thesis,and then introduce the research object,problem,purpose,innovation,meaning,method and frame of this paper one after another.In this research,we adopts the research method of combining theory with demonstration,the first stage is theoretical research,which is based on the retrospection of the previous literature,qualitative analysis of the problems to be studied in this paper,and then puts forward the preliminary hypothesis of this study.Combined with the author’s practical understanding and practice in Nanjing Bureau for Letters and Calls last summer vacation,this paper makes a research and analysis on the communication of job burnout with the petition staffs leader during the period of practice,According to this,we design the questionnaire,survey and collect relevant data to prepare for the second stage.The second stage is empirical research.Based on the first stage,the questionnaire data collected through statistical analysis are used to make a quantitative judgment on the research questions.Based on the theoretical research,the present situation of mental anxiety and the cause of psychological anxiety of the petition staffs are further clarifiedFinally,after the empirical research,the paper comes to the following four specific conclusions① Through the confirmatory analysis of the survey data,we can draw the conclusion that the anxiety level of petition staff is higher than the Chinese norm and the effect is remarkable,that is to say,there is a certain psychological anxiety problem among petition staffs.②The level of psychological anxiety of the petition staff is influenced by their self-esteem and their psychological empowerment in their work.Anxiety was negatively correlated with mental empowerment,and anxiety was negatively correlated with self-esteem③Mental Empowerment includes four dimensions:work meaning,self-efficacy,work influence and work autonomy,among which,self-efficacy,work meaning and work autonomy are negatively related to anxiety.④High self-esteem and high psychological empowerment can ease the anxiety level of petition staff,low self-esteem and low psychological empowerment will aggravate the anxiety level of them.Through the research of this paper,we can find that the general level of mental anxiety and the relationship between anxiety and self-esteem and psychological empowerment of the current petition staff.To further enhance the staffs emotional adjustment ability,ease the staffs psychological anxiety level and improve the work quality of the complaint divisions,the paper provides a reasonable and effective theoretical basis for suggestions.
