At present,English as the country, the direct exchange between the most widely used language, played an irreplaceable role in other languages.Starting from junior high school,it is very important and urgent for students to lay a good foundation for English learning. As an effective teaching method, classroom questioning plays an important role in teaching practice, including enhancing students 'attention, enhancing the memory of content and enhancing students' self-confidence.Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on classroom questions, including questions about the concept, type, skills and other aspects. However, the study of domestic junior high school English classroom questioning is still limited to the use of a method or means, the lack of qualitative and quantitative methods of combining the two aspects of research.Based on the theory of constructivism, humanism, cognitive theory, metacognitive theory and social interaction theory, this paper adopts literature research, classroom ethnography and questionnaire survey.Taking the junior middle school in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone as an example, this paper finds out some problems in the classroom questionnaires through the specific three classroom cases and the questionnaire survey of junior middle school English teachers and students, and puts forward the corresponding strategies accordingly.Three examples of junior high school English classes cover the guidance of the new text, the warm-up of listening exercises and the discussion of writing. The questionnaire survey of teachers and students was analyzed from the aspects of the importance, type and way of questioning in the classroom, the feedback, the effect and the function, and so on.The problems in the classroom question include:the lack of teachers' questions in the classroom, the lack of pre-class preparation of the teachers, the lack of grasping the rhythm of the teachers' questions, the questioning of the teachers in the classroom and the improper handling of the teachers' questions.Corresponding strategies include:improving the professional quality of teachers, strengthening teachers' pre-class preparation, asking for language use, strengthening feedback to students' answers, raising students' ability to raise questions, and increasing the level of students covered by questions.
