A Study On Public Art's Involvement In Rural Construction

The country has paid a heavy price for its modernization.In recent years,there have been many successful cases of artists' involvement in rural construction and rural reconstruction.These areas,with limited funds,have gained the attention of the outside world through the intervention of public art,which has promoted local development.On the basis of these cases,this paper makes a research and analysis on the case of DongFengyun,and discusses the extrinsic value and intrinsic meaning of public art intervention in rural areas.This paper first defines the concept of public art and rural construction,and sorts out the types of rural construction.Secondly,the author classifies the types of public art intervention in rural areas,and analyzes,contrasts and thinks about the cases at home and abroad.This paper aims to explore the significance and value of public art intervention in rural construction based on the case analysis of DongFengyun designed and built by Luo Xu.On the basis of field investigation,this paper makes a detailed survey and analysis on the project profile,location traffic,geological features,construction and function of DongFengyun.In this paper,the author discusses the external value and intrinsic meaning of public art intervention in rural areas.
