| With the trend of Chinese language fever,Chinese learning has gained mor e and more attention in Myanmar.Chinese schools have become an important ba se for Chinese language promotion at this stage,and textbooks play an crucial r ole in overseas Chinese teaching.During the one-year education practice at Bha mo Buddhist School of Kachin State of Myanmar,the author discovered that the school has its own characteristics in the use of Chinese textbooks.The textbook Han Yu(Chinese Cultural Press)is used in common with the Textbook Chines e(Yuwen,People’s Educational Press).Although there are many achievements in the study of Chinese teaching materials in Myanmar by the academic communit y,there are few researches and studies on the specific use of the Textbook Chin ese(Yuwen,People’s Educational Press)in Burma’s Chinese schools.Taking Bha mo Buddhist School of Kachin State of Myanmar as the object of study,the pa per aims to deeply explore the actual use of Textbook Chinese(Yuwen,People’s Educational Press)among teachers and students at the school and to find proble ms in the using process.Based on this,the paper proposes targeted suggestions for the improvement of the textbooks and hopes to benefit the practice of Chine se teaching in Myanmar.This paper first reviews the history,current teaching sit uation,and Chinese teaching characteristics of the Chinese language education at the school.Then it surveys and analyzes the use of textbooks by teachers and students through questionnaires.Combined with the circumstance of the school,t he paper analyzes problems in the process of using textbooks.Finally,in light o f the results of the investigation and interview analysis,and combined with the r elevant theories,the paper proposes targeted suggestions for future selection,prep aration and use of textbooks for Chinese schools. |
