In this paper,the calligraphy teaching of Yunnan university students as the research object,through observation,in-depth students calligraphy class to collect relevant data,as well as to foreign students to issue questionnaires,interviews,through the investigation of the status of calligraphy teaching of Yunnan university students,so as to find the existing problems in calligraphy teaching,and put forward teaching suggestions and reflection on the problems.There are six parts in this thesis.The first part is the introduction,mainly expounds the origin,significance and status of the research,and introduces the research methods,research ideas and theoretical basis of the study;The second part expounds the significance of calligraphy teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from three aspects: the relationship between calligraphy teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the significance of calligraphy teaching to cultural communication and Chinese character teaching;The third part is the most important part of this paper,is the investigation and analysis of the status of calligraphy teaching of Yunnan university students.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the present situation from three aspects: curriculum,general situation of teaching objects and teaching present situation.The fourth part is based on the summary and analysis of the problems in calligraphy teaching of Yunnan university students.The fifth part is according to the problems in calligraphy teaching put forward relevant suggestions,and put forward four foreign students in calligraphy teaching principles should be followed.The sixth part is the summary of the whole research process.Calligraphy teaching of foreign students plays an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.there are still many problems to be solved in calligraphy teaching of Yunnan university.in developing calligraphy teaching of foreign students,we should follow the principles of calligraphy teaching,adopt reasonable teaching methods,and gradually promote the perfection and maturity of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
