Man's Piety And“Spiritual Experience” Of God

In 2016,Xi JinPing emphasized at the National Conference on Religions that in the new situation,We must guide the development of traditional Chinese religion towards a better and healthier development.We must adhere to and develop religious theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics,fully implement the basic principles of the Party's religious work,analyze the situation of our country's religious work,and study the new situation faced by our country's religious work.Problems,raise the level of religious work in an all-round manner,and better organize and agglomerate the masses of religious believers to work with the people of the whole country to fight for the realization of the "two hundred years" struggle goal and realize the Chinese dream of a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Within folk religions,which are regarded as non-institutional religions,faith centers on deities and ghosts,and the belief in deities and ghosts has remained uninterrupted since ancient times.This article mainly uses “religion compensation theory” as a theoretical tool to explain folk religions,and,given the context of a particular time and space.Namely,two-way compensation can more fully explain the most fundamental reason the belief in deities has remained uninterrupted.Therefore,from the perspective of the mutual construction that occurs between humans and deities,the author glimpses into the mechanism by which deities exist and come into being,as well as the internal mechanism that drives the people's belief in and worship of deities.That is,the core issue of the main discussion: the mechanism of interaction between piety and “efficaciousness”.Piety is a “spiritual response” mechanism,which makes“efficaciousness” and piety the main conditions for strengthening the relationship between mankind and God.It is human piety that makes deities more“efficacious”,and the deities' degree of “efficaciousness”that similarly makes people more pious.However,in the concrete relationship between man and deities,“efficaciousness ”is usually a necessary condition for the deities to figuratively continue their own incense fire(or extend their existence),and it is the key to attracting believers.At the same time,deities' degree of“efficaciousness” determines the degree of devotion of believers(or religious commitment).In the faith of folk religions,man cannot live without the reliance on God,and God is also inseparable from the worship of him.
