Research On "Dimensional Antonymous Compound"

Antonymous compound is a kind of Chinese compound word,which is the juxtaposed compound composed by two monosyllabic morpheme with the opposite meaning.In this article,based on the dimensional semantic field,we have a research on the forming process and the development of the meaning of “dimensional antonymous compound”.On the beginning of the two monosyllable dimensional adjectives used together,it always express the general meaning used together with noun that they modify.That express the sum of the meaning of the noun that the tow morpheme.The syntactic context of the lexicalizaton of “dimensional antonymous compound” is “N's A1A2”;the semantic condition is that express its superior concept;the grammar condition is that haved changed in nature.The development of the meaning of“dimensional antonymous compound” that have lecicalized are different from each other.And some atonymous compounds also have developed the usage of modal adverb.In this essay,we study the forming process,the lexicalization and the grammaticalization of the “dimensional antonymous compound”,there are five parts in this article.Part1: introduction.It introduce the origin of the selecting the topic,the research condition of the antonymous compound,the definition and the research condition of the“dimensional antonymous compound”.And introduce the article from the purpose,the meaning and the method of research.Part2: the lexicalization process of the antisense compound of "dimensional antonymous compound".The antisense compound of "spatial measurement" has a sense of measurement.In addition to "KuanZhai","CuXi","YuanJin",other words have developed more meanings.There are different ways of lexicalization among different meanings,but the lexicalization mechanism is the same,which is based on the metonymy mechanism of "partial substitution for the whole".Part3: the grammatical function of the substantival "dimensional antonymous compound".In this paper,we mainly study the grammatical environment,syntacticdistribution and syntactic composition in modern Chinese of the "dimensional antonymous compound".Part4: the semantics and function study of the adverb ”dimensional antonymous compound”.Only three words that have grammaticalized and developed the usage of modal adverb,that is”DaXiao”,“GaoDi” and “ChangDuan”.We study them from the process and motivation of grammaticalization semantic feature,syntactic feature,and the subjectivity and subjectivezation,and compare and analyze with the other antonymous compounds.Part5: summarize the main content od the text,viewpoint and value and put forword the question that could be kept on discuss.
