The Study On The Geographical Comprehensive Survey Of The Border Region Of Yunan And Burma In The Republic Of China(1934-1935)

Since 1930s,our contry has many frontier issues,the boundary dispute of Yunnan and Burma from China and Britain is the main part of it,this attract the Kuomintang goverment and all social circles attention.At that time,the government and academia began to study the border between Yunnan and Burma.Its content has also been broadened from territorial sovereignty and historical evolution to areas such as nationality,resources,education,religion,transportation and so on.A lot of research results have been formed,but the study on border survey groups in this period is slightly thinner and needs to be supplemented urgently.The main reserch of this paper is Zhou Guangzhuo's Yunnan border investigation group,the Yunnan geographical investigation group of Centre College,and Wu Zhonglun's plant investigation group,According to the trait of the time,studied and analyzed these three teams' background,personnel composition,start and end of the investigation,the investigation results and significance,will fill the gap of the related research,come to these conclusions:The three expedition teams conducted a detailed survey of the political,economic,cultural,ethnic,and plant aspects of Yunnan and Burma border region for nearly a year,they have fruitful harvest,so that we can better understand the really look of the Yunnan and Burma border inspection,many harvest can help construct the Yunnan's border,the re-exploration between China and Britain,the final slove of boundary problem,all of these have significance,so these help research for today's Yunnan region and The Belt and Road Initiative implementation provide some information,At the same time,the researchers' patriotic enthusiasm and academic attitude are worth learning and passing on in the academic circles today.
