"zhuo"—abstract Decorative Series Creation Instruction

The application of abstract decoration in modern ceramic decoration is an important expressional language,and this “art for art's sake” language carries artists' self-expression and perception of life.The great charm of abstract decoration art is reflected by the free expression of decoration,while the application of abstract decoration in modern ceramic decorative art is mainly reflected by the composition of picture,color,texture and material,etc.The application of abstract decoration in ceramic art allows creators to find the entry point of modern ceramic artistic creation,and focus on the characteristics of ceramic materials,so as to enhance their art level,apply the abstract decorative language,deal with the relationship between decoration and modeling,and create modern abstract ceramic works that can reflect the aesthetic feeling of designers,conform to the public aesthetic,and give out the brilliant rays of the times.In this graduation design,it is themed on “zhuo”,and the creation always focuses on the aesthetic view that great wisdom appears “zhuo”.With the stone as the prototype of modeling,the modeling language that the creator wants to express is fully reflected by ceramics through abstract deformation.The patterning mainly adopts the art formed mainly by geometric cold abstract decoration,supplemented by points,lines and surfaces,to reinforce the beauty in form.The ceramic skills mainly conduct the abstract decoration and creation with the engobe as pigment,through matching the ratio of colored clay and high white clay.
