A Study On Dialectics In "Talent And Metaphysics"

"Talent and Metaphysics" was published by Mou Zongsan in 1963,which dredged the temperament of human nature and the metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasties.The study of human nature started from the pre-Qin Dynasty.Wang Chong proposed predestiny-ism."Figures" opened aesthetics.The system of talent is to start with "Figures",and to end with "Four theories".The metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasties was developed by applying the beauty and wisdom in the talent system to the Taoist doctrine,headed by Wang Bi and He Yan,followed by Xiang Xiu and Guo Xiang.Talent system is the aestheticism of personality aesthetics,metaphysics system is the metaphysics of "nothing",both of them are trapped by the moral heart,and in the process of dialectical development,they are opposed to the subject and object of the moral heart,and ultimately absorbed by the moral heart and covered by the Confucian physical metaphysics.The first chapter explains the two concepts of"Wei-Jin Mingli" and "Mou Zongsan's Dialectics".The second and third chapters orientate the theory of talent and Metaphysics from the perspective of dialectics.The last part discusses how to resolve the contradiction between freedom and morality,as well as the summary of dialectics in "talent and metaphysics".
