The Research On Female Officials In Wuzhou And Zhongzong Period

The female official is a palace women who have authority and can participate in politics by Emperor's permission.A group of female officials appeared to assist the emperor in handling government affairs in Wuzhou and Zhongzong period.This group was created by the actual demand of Emperor Wu Zetian,and the political power also came from the empress,so most of them was dismissed along with Wu Zetian's abdication except Shangguan Wan'er.Therefore,particular attention is needed to Shangguan Wan'er because of her exceptional in female officials.The female officials are a special group in Wuzhou and Zhongzong period,whose work contents is different from concubines and maids.Accordingly,the theory studying in this field is quite necessary and meaningful.This paper takes Shangguan Wan'er as the main research object,which main purpose is to make a systematic analysis of female officials in Wuzhou and Zhongzong period.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.In the first part,the significance and innovation of this study are explained on this basis of previous research results,some basic concepts also be introduced at the same time.The research objects of the second part are female officials in Wuzhou and Zhongzong period.It is firstly analyzed that the reasons why Wu Zetian used the female officials,and then discussed main power of them.Subsequently,the phenomenon female officials'expansion are analyzed.At the end,the characteristics of female officials during that period are concluded.In the third part,it is mainly analyzed the political activities of Shangguan Wan'er,who is a special case in this study.Shangguan Wan'er's political participation according to the time clue is sorted out,and the cause of her death is also be clarifiedThe fourth part is the conclusion of the study,the characteristics and nature of female officials would be explained in this part.
