Red culture,as a precious spiritual wealth formed in the long-term practice of revolution and construction led by CCP,not only covers the patriotic ideals,revolutionary beliefs and moral qualities of revolutionary aspirants,but also reflects the precious red history and noble revolutionary spirit.Red culture itself is an important resource.It is an effective carrier for building socialism with Chinese characteristics and promoting the education of socialist core values in the new era.It is also an important source for the coordinated development of social economy and culture.Hainan is rich in red culture,and red tourism resources are abundant and widely distributed.But for a long time,Hainan's regional image has been mainly constructed through green and blue tourism culture.However,the immobilized and modeled regional image is not conducive to the long-term development of Hainan.Therefore,tapping red cultural resources and developing multi-cultural tourism forms can diversify regional image and support the long-term development of international tourism island.At present,in general,Hainan tourism market has a low degree of recognition of red culture,the number of well-known red cultural brands is relatively small,and there is still great room for development and utilization of red cultural resources.There are also some problems with Hainan red culture,such as the lack of media literacy of the communicators,the single form of communication content,the limited channels of communication,and the unsatisfactory effect of communication in the process of spreading.Therefore,how to fully exploit and utilize the red cultural resources,inherit,develop and carry forward the red culture and the red spirit of Hainan,and study the effective strategies for Hainan to get out of the predicament of the red culture dissemination have become an important topic of great concern to the current academic circles in the new era.Through combing the basic content of Hainan red culture,this paper analyses the opportunities and challenges in developing red culture of Hainan in the new era,explores the spreading value of Hainan red culture in the current period and its future development significance,and puts forward some communication strategies for it in the new era in view of various problems existing in the process of spreading Hainan red culture.
