Geographical Study Of Nanyang Administrative Region In Zhou Dynasty

The Nanyang area is an economically developed area of the Zhou Dynasty.It is also a battleground for the military.It is not only superior in natural conditions,but also has obvious geographical advantages.It is a transportation hub between east and west and north and south.During the Zhou,especially during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,the Nanyang area played a pivotal role.However,the region has not attracted enough attention from the academic circles.The relevant research mostly stays in the military function part of the Nanyang area.In order to better sort out the development of the Nanyang area in the Zhou,this paper will use history,geography,archaeology,etc.The research method,combined with archaeological materials,conducted an in-depth study of the geography of the Nanyang political district in the Zhou Dynasty,with a view to promoting the study of the Nanyang issue in the Zhou Dynasty.The paper is divided into three parts:The first part is to sort out the relevant concepts of Nanyang,Hanoi and Nanyang County.The concept of Nanyang and Hanoi in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty coincides with that of Nanyang.Nanyang County is often confused with Nanyang.The mutual entanglement affects our understanding of the Nanyang area.Therefore,the first part discusses the relationship between the three.The second part introduces the natural conditions of Nanyang area by introducing the natural conditions of Nanyang and surrounding areas,and then discusses the geographical situation of Nanyang traffic.The third part discusses in detail the evolution of the political districts of the counties under the Nanyang area.and describes the geographical process of Qin's Nanyang area.
