After the reform and opening up,in order to facilitate communication,it is necessary to leam a foreign language.Therefore,more and more Vietnamese are learning Chinese,and the number of Chinese who are learning Vietnamese is also increasing.The reason why the cultures of China and Vietnam share many similarities is the geographical location of the two countries.In order to help leamers master the target language well,many scholars have made indepth studies of Chinese and Vietnamese from various perspectives,among which the research of Chinese and Vietnamese idioms has attracted more and more attention.Idioms reflect the content of a national culture and the crystallization of wisdom.Through an idiom,we can understand the deep culture it contains,as well as the cultural background,mode of thinking and way of life of a country through some idioms.This paper takes the study of comparing the idioms of "dragon" and "tiger" in Vietnamese as the research topic.It is hoped that through this study,the learners of Chinese will have a better understanding of Chinese culture and find out the similarities and differences between Chinese and Vietnamese cultures through the two images of "dragon" and "tiger".There are three parts in this paper.The frst part is the introduction,which includes the research background,the reasons for choosing the topic and the signitcance of the research,the research objectives,the theoretical basis and research methods,the sources of the corpus and the overview of the current research situation.The second part is the text,which is divided into four chapters.The main content of the first chapter is to introduce the defnition of Chinese and Vietnamese idioms and the source of the idioms containing "dragon" and "tiger".The second chapter is about statistics of the number of "dragon" and "tiger" idioms in Chineseand Vietnamese,and an analysis of the structure of the idioms.The third chapter is to analyze the corresponding relationship betweenChinese and Vietnamese idioms containing "dragon" and "tiger".The content of the last chapter is to fnd out the cultural connotation of the idioms by analyzing them,and to fnd out the similarities and differences between the cultures of China and Vietnam.Finally,through the similarities and differences between the two image,fnd out the reasons for the similarities and differences.The third part is the conclusion,through the analysis and summary of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Vietnamese idioms containing "dragon" and "tiger" and the reasons for the similarities and differences?...
