Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy is a turning point in the development of calligraphy art in the Tang Dynasty.It is also representative in the history of Chinese calligraphy.It bears the role of bearing up and down.This topic is based on the relevant literature and materials of Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy works,and surrounds Yan Zhenqing's life experience and book style.It summarized Yan Zhenqing's personal life,historical background,calligraphy learning experience,calligraphy works and the style of his representative works.Through in-depth understanding of the different perspectives and viewpoints of various scholars,it studied the changes of Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy life and book style.The topic is combed Yan Zhenqing's own calligraphy learning and style formation,compared his works in different periods,studied how to inherit and develop the art of calligraphy.In summary,this study believes that the inheritance of Chinese calligraphy must first be rooted in “work” and always adhere to the “artisan spirit” in order to be the cornerstone of calligraphy inheritance;and “intention” is innovation,with the accumulation of “work” Naturally,it will gradually reveal that the combination of "work" and "ideal" can achieve the success of calligraphy.This is the inheritance mode of Chinese calligraphy constructed in this study.
