| Dunhuang Sound and Painting,a large-scale national symphony,is one of the important achievements in the field of Chinese national orchestral music creation since the 21 st century.The work was created by Zhao Jiping,the artistic director,and several composers,such as Jing Jianshu,Zhang Jian and Han Lankui.The work is divided into seven movements: the first movement is the prelude to "Mogao Fengling";the second movement is "Xiliang Music and Dance";the third movement is "The Story of Crescent Spring";the fourth movement is "General Travel";the fifth movement is "Dunhuang Market";the sixth movement is "Flying Heaven";the seventh movement is "Dunhuang Fu".With the symphony technique of modern national orchestra,composers show the audience three-dimensional pictures through time and space from the aspect of auditory art,vividly showing the rich and colorful cultural connotations of Dunhuang’s art,religion,war,history and folklore.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is a summary of the large-scale national symphony Dunhuang Sound and Picture.It mainly discusses the inheritance and development of Dunhuang Sound and Picture,the composer’s brief introduction,the creative background and the composer’s creative idea.The second chapter mainly discusses the choice of Dunhuang theme in the creation of Dunhuang Sound and Picture and the application of Dunhuang music elements in the Western Regions.The third chapter mainly makes a detailed analysis of the music noumenon of the large-scale national symphony "Dunhuang Sound and Picture";the fourth part discusses the reference and refinement of the Chinese and Western composing techniques of "Dunhuang Sound and Picture" and the creative practice of combining Chinese and Western. |
