This paper aims at explaining my graduation work"Girls from Myanmar",focusing on what I saw, heard and thought in the process of topic selection, research, filming and post-editing,introspecting and harvesting after the completion of the film, explaining the background of the work, and analyzing the content of the work.My documentary"Girls from Myanmar"truly records the work and life of the girls from Myanmar who came to the Sino-Myanmar border,Dehong Prefecture,China. This film chooses two heroines'stories.Xiaobi,a small worker in Yinjia bakery,is a"cross-border nation"with the same ancestry as the bakery owner and the landlady.Xiaobi is introverted. She is like most Myanmar girls who work across the border. They come with survival rationality and make a living in China temporarily, but are confused about the future."Xiaobimen"will contact Chinese bosses, know Chinese friends, learn to speak Chinese, and use Chinese APP in the process of working. All these phenomena show that their integration is good. The bakery owner is the epitome of many"Burmese brides".She came to Dehong,China, nine years ago to work in this bakery. She met Yin Zhiqiang, her husband, and married and had children in China. She and her husband are"cross-border nationalities"distributed between China and Myanmar,so the initial communication between them is basically unhindered. Now,Chunmei is almost fully integrated into Chinese society. Her family is happy and harmonious. She believes in religion freely and has normal social intercourse. From survival rationality to development rationality.
