A Study On Wu Jiaji’s Archaism Poetry

For past few years,the Poetry from Plain Loft of Wu Jiaji has not received enough attention while the study on him and his archaism poetry was not deep enough as well.In fact,only through the text of his poetry deeply,back to the original context of poetry can we understand the creative characteristic of his archaism poetry.The first chapeter focuses on Wu Jiaji’s orignal poetry,to study on his attitude towards the poetry creation.This essay holds the main poetic ideas concepts of Wu Jiaji are to make poetry with emotion,attach importance to the sound of yazheng,and express grief and indignation in poetry.His creation of archaism poetry can prove his poetic ideas very well.The second chapeter focuses on the content of Wu Jiaji’s archaism poetry,dividing it into four aspects: expressing friendship,praising landscape and pastoral,chanting history and nostalgia,and presenting reality.The third chapeter further analyses the artistic features of Wu Jiaji’s archaism poetry from the aspects of artistic techniques and stylistic features.Wu Jiaji’s archaism poetry is good at narrating and using various means to shape the characters,good at using sentence pattern changes to achieve specific artistic effects.His archaism poetry can convey clear ideas without setting a lot of references and allusions.The fourth chapeter analyses the reasons for the artistic characteristics of Wu Jiaji’s archaism poetry from its creative background.The environmental background of his life,his poetic ideas and his learning from predecessors are the reasons for the formation of his tragic and cold artistic style.
