Wu Jiaji was an important loyalist poet of Ming dynasty in early Qing dynasty.From his whole life,we can summary four status:Confucian scholar,loyalist,anchoret,populace and poet,he was the successor of Taizhou school and the representative of loyalist poet.He secluded in the seaside,did not contact with vulgarians.He lived in poverty but sticking to his ideal, put all his energy in poetry until death,and have the Poems from Plain Loft handed down.But for a long time,he did not receive due attention for he was only a populace.His poem absor many experiences of his predecessors.The works are accessibly and specialized in the end of the poem.He concerned about the people's livehood,some poems are equivalent to the history.His poem style is bitter and cold,it is unique,was called Yeren style.The Poems from Plain Loft has many versions,each of them has the advantages and disadvantages.Wu has many friends,this also have a broad research prospect.At that time and later,Wu Jiaji and his poem have a significant impact. In the history of poetry his status can not be ignored.
