As a Confucian classic,The Book of Rites has had a profound influence on the ideological and cultural culture of later generations. As a literary work, its literary value cannot be underestimated. The predecessors have conducted a more comprehensive study of all aspects of the Book of Rites, and there is a lack of systematic research in the style.Based on the intersection of the scholarly attributes and literary attributes of The Book of Rites, this paper studies the style of the Book of Rites according to the standard of the scriptures. This article is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the background of the book of Book of Rites and the relationship with the ancient Chinese style.Book of Rites was written in the Western Han Dynasty.Compared with other Confucian classics, the time for writing was relatively late, and the time to enter the classic position was relatively late. Therefore, people often ignored the influence of their style. In this part, the stylistic problems are simply sorted out.The second part introduces the "zhuan" in Book of Rites because the "jing" is too long away from our present age. Many of the things that need not be explained at that time are difficult to understand in later generations,or the saints did not Expressing the meaning behind the implied, therefore,a medium is needed to communicate the descendants with the predecessors and make them explicit.Understandably, this medium is“zhuan”.The biography is the most important one in the interpretation of the style. Its relationship with the classic is the relationship between the interpretation and interpretation. The third part introduces the "shuo" in Book of Rites. In the interpretation of the scriptures,"shuo" is mainly explained in terms of the philosophical aspects of the article. It is often spread out on the basis of the "jing" and has a long relationship with the classics. In Book of Rites, there are both immature and literary styles,as well as mature and literary styles. From this,we can see a process of the development of "shuo".The fourth part introduces the "ji" in Book of Rites. The "ji" contains rich content, which can supplement the "jing" or supplement the "zhuan",and can record behavior,language,things,thoughts..This part mainly focuses on recording the articles of etiquette, trying to sort out a trajectory from the literary style to the practical style to the literary style.
