"V?V?"is a common construction in Chinese.It often appears in spoken language to express the persistence and repetition of actions or states.Previous studies on this construction are mostly limited to traditional format analysis methods.This paper attempts to study"V?V?"from the perspective of construction theory and explore effective Chinese teaching methods of it.This paper adopts the methods of literature,corpus analysis and quantitative research to study"V?V?"from three perspectives:synchronic,diachronic and TCFL.The main body of the article is divided into three parts:In the first part,from the synchronic point of view,the concept of"construction"of"V?V?" is defined.It is considered that this construction is a schematic phrase-type,semi-transparent and functional oral construction.The collocation intensity is calculated by using the method of construction collocation analysis,and the prototype of "V ? V ?"is obtained.This construction has the meaning[+repetition][+persistence][+fullness]by cognitive grammar analysis.Based on the meaning analysis of the sub-construction of"V?V?",the continuum schema with enhancing and losing of spatial movement is obtained.Finally,the access and restriction of slot "V" are discussed.The second part,based on the theory of constructionalization and grammaticalization theory,investigates the process of Constructionalization of "V?V?”,which can be divided into two phases.The first phase is from the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the Six Dynasties of Wei and Jin.The using frequency of"?"and"?"and both are gradually increasing.The meaning of"?"and"?" are gradually grammatical and the emergence of relevant formats of"V?V?"has laid the foundation for the formation of the"V?V?"construction.The second phase is from Sui,Tang,Five Dynasties to Qing Dynasty.During this period,the constructionalization of"V ? V ?"was completed and constructional changes occurred in Song Dynasty.The constructionalization of this stage is reflected in the gradual improvement of schematicity and productivity,and the continuous decrease of compositionality.The third part explores the teaching design of the "V?V?"construction.Firstly,it finds out the problems of Chinese learners through error analysis.Then,on the basis of the"Trinity Grammar"theory,it extracts the typical context of the"V?V?"construction from the corpus,and designs a teaching model which includes the trinitxy of structure,meaning,function and typical context,so as to make teaching more concrete and vivid.
