With the rapid development of the modern science and technology,the transactions of e-commerce are more frequent than past and business integration is critical in the development,so the translation plays an important role in business communication.This kind of document conveys the economic concept and has many meaningful words,complicated sentence constituents.Therefore,the translation should be objective,precise and coherent.This report consists of three parts.Part One introduces background of the original and significance of this translation,and presents translation theory.It is based on the translation of the first two chapters of Ontologies-Based Business Integration with the eclecticism as theoretical guidance.This guidance suggests translating word by word and conveys the original content.This paper also analyzed the problems and solutions during the translation according to the text characteristics of economics and trading literary,then carries on the summary and reconsidering.As the highlight of the report,Part Two studies translation strategies based on case study with examples showing the different translating strategies in this report.As economics and trading literary,the language of Ontologies-Based Business Integration has distinctive features.There are twenty seven examples in this report.It analyzes examples from word,sentence,etc This report also adopts methods like supplementation,omission,and conversion to analyze sentences,these translation approaches and skills could solve difficulties in the process of translation.The final part states the reflection and summaries from the translation.I hope that the simple analysis of this paper will play a part in the future learning and work,and serve as a reference for others.
