Lanzhou,located in the northwest border area is an important node of the silk road.Since Ming Su Wang dynasty guarded Lanzhou,all kinds of religions have been developing and spreading in here.As one of the carriers to understand the general situation of Lanzhou religion,relevant figures and historical events,tablet inscriptions provide the most original and reliable materials for the study of religious development in Lanzhou.Taking the Ming and Qing dynasties as the timeline,this paper collected and sorted out the inscriptions of buddhist,Taoist and folk beliefs in Lanzhou through field investigationsand literature collection.According to statistics,there were 176 inscriptions of religious inscriptions in Lanzhou during the Ming and Qing dynasties,Among them,there are 99 extant inscriptions,only mentioned in the literature,but there are 77 inscriptions and lost objects.Qing dynasty inscriptions preservation of a relatively large number.The extant religious inscriptions are mostly concentrated in the temples and Taoist temples such as baita mountain,Wuquan mountain,Jintian temple,Baiyun temple,Chenghuang temple and so on.From the data,we can see that most of the religions are stele.The shape is mostly Guishuo and ring head;The style is mostly Yan and Liu style of small block letters,the overall style is relatively unified.According to the inscriptions,it is found that Lanzhou religious inscriptions not only supplement the local history and religious history information,but also reflect the unique regional function value.In short,the study of religious inscriptions in Lanzhou is not only of great significance for understanding the changes of religious activities in Lanzhou and even northwest China,but also an indispensable carrier for understanding politics,economy,culture and other aspects of Lanzhou.
